It may be worth taking a chance with MAWSEM ahead of Management and Sir Ocus although the market should shed some light on proceedings. George Baker has his team in good order and he saddles an interesting newcomer in Mawsem who made 110,000 guineas as a yearling but only a fraction of that last year. He's well related, should handle cut in the ground, has a top conditional booked and is well worth considering if the vibes are positive. Alan King and Colin Tizzard have both been making waves in bumpers in recent weeks and they're represented by Management and Sir Ocus. The former's sales price increased as a three year-old and he's related to winners, including the useful Bambi de L'Orme whilst the latter is related to a winner of a bumper. J'Adhere scored comfortably for his previous connections and merits respect with Gallox Bridge, Poppy Come Running and Strike Three others to note but a chance is taken with Mawsem.
