Verdict
Having coped with a 15lb hike in the ratings on his reappearance, Pagero has only 4lb more to carry here but is taking on stronger opposition. Vancouver got back to winning ways at Uttoxeter and Empreinte Reconce found only one too good at Stratford last month but CAPONE was doing his best work at the finish over 2m at Market Rasen and may be ready for a step up in trip. Esprit De Baileys also tries a longer distance but may be less likely to appreciate the extra.
