Asker had some decent form prior to last month's run at Plumpton but ran a shocker there and may not be entirely straightforward. Leinosus arrives off the back of placed efforts in a Grade 2 and a Listed race and must be a danger to all at this level. However, he hasn't raced since November whereas TUSCAN GOLD was a close-up third in a handicap at Sandown 12 days ago and should be cherry-ripe for this. Laura Mongan's charge has been difficult to place but has undoubted ability and today might just be his day. Kauto D'Aloes has a decent pedigree and can only improve on his third at Taunton but may not come into his own until tackling fences. Newcomers Lady Barastar and Yazdi both won on the Flat but the market will be the best guide to their chances here.
