Much will depend on which of the three fencing recruits takes to this new discipline with greatest ease. Danny's Star has only been seen in points hitherto and Vancouver has contested selling hurdles on his last three starts. Course winner Not Never is by far the best hurdler of the chase newcomers and could well prove good enough but DE PLOTTING SHED had plenty of chasing experience when with Gordon Elliott and now has a first start for the Best team. The booking of Richard Johnson suggests connections mean business, he's contested some valuable handicaps in Ireland and is taken to make his confirmed jumping experience count.
