Verdict

It took Old Dreams six attempts to get off the mark over fences but she was quite impressive in a handicap at Plumpton. Others in this have more scope, however, with Nicky Henderson persisting with Kings Lodge over the larger obstacles. He's eased in grade and Ski Sunday has been placed in three of his four runs so far in chases. Bracken House carries a penalty for his victory at Cartmel and more interesting is VIRGINIA ASH. A real stayer, he was thought good enough to run at the Cheltenham Festival in March and should thrive now tackling fences.
