Kentford Heiress pulled hard and then almost ran out on the flat when winning here 10 days so was probably value for more than her winning margin. Daniel Sansom again takes off 10lb but she is 6lb higher and possibly too close in the weights to the returning KAYF WILLOW. Philip Hobbs' mare was very consistent last season and can make a winning reappearance. Titch Strider tends to struggle in this grade but Tir Dubh won at Worcester in July and Belcanto is a previous course and distance winner coming down the weights again.

Kentford Heiress 9-2 (11-0) Took keen hold, held up off the pace in 5th, headway tracking leaders 7th, 2nd after 3 out, led travelling well approaching 2 out, soon clear, hung badly right to paddock exit and almost unseated rider run-in, kept on, won at Fontwell 2m 6f hcp (4) gd in Aug beating The Snappy Poet (11-6) by 3l, 6 ran.
Belcanto (IRE) 25-1 (11-12) Led 1st, headed before 2 out, weakened from last, 7th of 11, 16 1/4l behind Midnight Sequel (11-8) at Worcester 2m 7f hcp (4) gd in Aug.
