Verdict
In a wide open betting heat the vote narrowly goes to LUTIN COLLONGES ahead of Kappelhof and Just Standeese. The selection may have only won just the one race from 11 starts that victory came in testing conditions at Plumpton. With the ground acting like again here that will be an obvious advantage and his mark is still competitive. In addition the from from his victory and solid effort last time stands true. Kappelhoff also has shown a liking for these ground conditions landing a decent looking runners-up place at this track last March. His mark now may be a little high but he does like it around here and could prove a leading contender. Seamus Mullins sends out Just Standeese after finally getting off the cold trainers list with a surprise winner at Wincanton on Thursday. It will be a lot to ask to carry top weight to victory but his rating looks competitive enough. Kilfinnan Castle has some form to show on bottomless ground and although off the pace recently has been beaten by some decent enough looking sorts but he could be headed again this time by Lutin Collonges.
