A typically competitive Showcase handicap where most of them have claims on the pick of their form. But Fellow Ship, who was a ready winner of a maiden here earlier in the campaign, may provide the key to spoiling Border Artist's hat-trick bid. With Lifted way and Jacaranda also both expected to be up there at the finish. However, the Gerard Butler-trained gelding has some very good form to his name and is much better than his solitary win from his previous 14 outings would suggest. His first visit to Kent sparked-off a welcome reversal in his fortunes and he may just provide a little value today as he bids to follow up. Scarrottoo and Andy's Elective are hard to enthuse about so Border Artist, who comes a long way for this, may fill the forecast slot behind Fellow Ship.
