Verdict
EMKANAAT made a promising debut at Windsor before returning a convincing five-length winner on the turf at Lingfield a fortnight ago. Eased down in the closing stages, there should be more to come from Roger Varian's gelding on his handicap debut and he gets the vote. Watch Amigo has failed to threaten in a couple of starts since scoring at Leicester in June and Romantic Wish makes more appeal after a close-up fourth in a higher grade at Salisbury earlier this month. Cape Rambler has won on good ground at Lingfield and may do better here after a poor effort on the Polytrack recently, while Mingun Bell could make the frame once again.
