Verdict

A disappointing turnout with just the five runners standing their ground at the overnight stage. Sylva Legend, a 108-rated hurdler makes his debut over fences and has to be respected but this really should lie between the top two. Formerly trained in Ireland, Bunratty Castle has taken time to find his best form since joining the stable of Paul Nicholls. However, the seven-year-old finally opened his account for his current handler when easily accounting for Banjo Hill at Stratford last time. The son of Supreme Leader still looked green that day and, with further improvement expected, he gets the TEAMtalk vote over Dantie Boy. The Philip Hobbs-trained gelding took advantage of Comex Flyer having an off day to win at Taunton last month but will find things tougher here. Magic Of Sydney and Stormy Skye make limited appeal.
