Verdict

It's a very long time since Qualypso D'Allier slammed his rivals at Fontwell and a 9lb rise won't help but Andy Turnell had a winner at Kempton on Saturday so a long absence may not be too much of a problem. Jonjo O'Neill has probably been waiting for better ground for QUAZY DE JOI, who won three times on good or fast going early last summer. He jumps and stays well and this looks an ideal opportunity to get back on the winning trail. Jumping problems have been the downfall of Near The Water since he scored at Fontwell over two years ago and his recent fall on very heavy ground at Plumpton may have taken its toll. Causing Chaos looks a threat as he was making his debut over fences at Warwick on New Year's Eve and produced a strong enough performance to be given a chance here. Just Josie has been raised 9lb for her success over the C&D last month and, as that was her chasing debut, she should go well though she made a couple of early mistakes that day.
