Irish Dancer gets the nod over the Geoff Wragg pair Hermanita and Mirin, with Nicomedia also worth a mention. Irish Dancer shaped with a degree of promise on both starts last term, the second of those two outings being here at Folkestone, and as the dam is related to Bonny Scot, she should benefit from the step up in trip. With Jamie Spencer booked to ride, John Dunlop's filly can come good on her return. The market may reveal which of the Wragg runners is preferred, but on breeding Hermanita looks a nice sort. The daughter of Hernando, owned by Kirsten Rausing, is related to plenty of winners, and is not being highly tried on this her debut. Mirin lacked a gear when last seen at Kempton in December, and will be seen to better effect over today's trip this term, while of the rest, Nicomedia has the most experience, and although already fairly well exposed, may be good enough to reach the frame at least. Irish Dancer has plenty of scope though, and can prove good enough first time back.
