In depth

Verdict

A race that has little strength in depth can go to Shouting The Odds. The James Given-trained filly was a highly respectable runner-up despite running green behind a fair performer on her bow at Musselburgh and should have litttle difficulty in going one place better. Simpkin was beaten off a mark of 63 last time and is likely to find the trip on the sharp side but the pacey Stagnite should not be inconvenienced by the drop to the minimum distance and rates the main danger.
