Verdict

BETWEEN US is bred in the purple but has been a huge disappointment so far this year, though she became very unbalanced at Catterick last time and is much better than that. We'll give Sir Mark Prescott's filly another chance now tackling handicaps though there are reservations about whether this tight track will suit. Kashgar has shown some ability and could be the one to take advantage if the selection flops again, though Autarch won over 1m2f at Brighton in May and didn't take to the Polytrack next time. Yarmouth winner Curly Come Home will appreciate the return to quicker ground after floundering on the soft at Warwick while Petaluma and Morlotti look the pick of the remainder.
