Lunar Leader can defy topweight in the finale, with Blue Symphony her only serious rival. Linda Stubbs' filly has thrived since having one or two problems ironed out, her first career victory at Ayr helped by the fitting of a rubber bit. Successful twice at Carlisle since, the daughter of Mujadil appears to handle any going, and the return to fast underfoot conditions are not therefore seen as a problem. Despite having to shoulder topweight, Lunar Leader is still well treated judged on her current form and she should have too much firepower for Blue Symphony. Ed Dunlop's charge has taken time to come to hand, but finally came good in a maiden handicap at Brighton that was little better than a seller. A daughter of the former top-class juvenile Blue Duster, she will never hit those heights but has at least enhanced her paddock value. The rest are not worth a mention, and it has to be Lunar Leader in the last.
