Verdict

Two wins and two places in his last four outings is a decent standard set by WE HAVE A DREAM, who we prefer to Idle Power and Bobbie Soxer. Willie Muir's gelding has been the model of consistency at this sort of level, and with a positive front running display, can improve on his 25% strike rate. Idle Power is the other course and distance winner in the field, albeit three years ago. Last time out he beat the selection when having a one pound weight advantage, and this time he's got double that, but given the more consistent form of We Have A Dream, we think that result can be reversed. Bobbie Soxer should have more than two wins to her name, and needs everything to fall right for her; the yard's in good form though and she must be considered. C'Mon You Irons completed a hat-trick in the summer at a lower grade than this; a step up to better races than this didn't yield a return, so a step down in class could see him return to winning ways, although he's never won off as high a mark as he's now racing off. Competitive fare, but preference is for We Have A Dream.
