Subtle Knife has a bit to find on last year's form but connections presumably think she's capable of better as she was tried in Listed company in October. However, the remainder have been racing on the all-weather of late and HEARTSONG looks the best of them judged on her recent placed efforts over 6f at Kempton. She's shown plenty of early pace so today's shorter trip shouldn't be a problem and John Gallagher's filly is preferred to Betty Brook and Vexillum, who both look pretty exposed now, though recent Kempton fifth Auntie Mabel has scope for further progress.
