Another chance is given to Cheap Street who's preferred to the progressive Tom's Laughter. The selection endured a tough time at three following a successful juvenile campaign but has slipped down the ratings and has shown signs of a return to form this season. He can be forgiven his latest run on quick ground in a stronger race than this and can be given a chance on the form of his penultimate start. Tom's Laughter has a penalty to carry but it was a relatively competitive little heat that he won at Leicester, he's versatile with regard to underfoot conditions and is progressing well. Proud Killer has run some of his best races here and it's a case of the more rain the better for his chances. He's not too badly treated and this step back up in trip will suit. However, for the winner, we'll come back to Cheap Street.
