DOCTOR ROBERT is a confident choice in the finale; the list of dangers is headed by Doctored and Mount Benger. Carl Llewellyn's four-year-old wasn't beaten far behind Naughty By Nature at Bangor last time out and a reproduction of that effort should see him tough to beat. He would probably be even more effective over slightly further, but nonetheless he makes plenty of appeal. Doctored will relish the cut in the ground and he did win well over this course and distance last month. He should be capable of troubling the judge, along with Mount Benger who won here two runs ago and he followed that up by beating Blushing Hilary at Market Rasen last time. He does have a 7lb penalty for that success today and that could leave him vulnerable. Rosoff is another who scored last time out, but that was a moderate contest at Plumpton and more will be required to win this. Saint Eric and Khatiman are others worthy of a mention, but Doctor Robert is put forward as the selection.
