        Verdict

        At The Opera won over a furlong further here last week having finished second over 7f the time before. This intermediate distance shouldn’t prove a problem, though it took him 10 attempts to get off the mark. NOW AND FOREVER (NAP) is having a first run for Paul Matchett but has a pretty good overall record and it will be a surprise if he is not in the shake-up again given he may be able to dictate from his inside berth. Stablemate Private Ruler has disappointed the last twice but is handicapped to go close if back on song while Bollemakiesie is back over his best trip.
