Aurora Gray looks to be gradually getting the hang of things but Peppard has yet to show much over a variety of trips and Shongololo disappointed on his handicap debut at Bath following an improved third at Lingfield. Edge ended a long losing run at Salisbury at the start of the month but it was soft ground that day and he looks worth opposing here now 4lb higher. It was a moderate contest that AFRICAN SHOWGIRL won at Brighton but this is no better and George Baker's filly can defy a 3lb to go in again with this looking much too short for Trending on his reappearance.
