        Verdict

        SAKHALIN STAR went close to ending a long losing run when third in a low grade handicap at Ayr recently and this looks no tougher. Weardiditallgorong never looked like catching the winner when placed on the Turf at Lingfield last time while Phebes Dream went close at Gowran last month in between a couple of modest efforts. Katabatika has failed to threaten in maiden races but may do better now handicapping.
