Siberian Tiger won on his debut over the larger obstacles at Haydock but couldn't follow up under a penalty at Stratford. Mixed messages have come out of that latter contest and Evan Williams' six-year-old may have problems here giving the weight to MAD MOOSE. The latter is tackling fences for the first time in public but has a chasing pedigree and was no slouch over hurdles, winning a decent race over timber at Haydock in March. He looks a far better prospect than Tramore fourth Bandama and former pointer Strong Soul.
