Verdict

Koultas King certainly deserves to win a race of this nature as he's only found one too good at Plumpton and Hereford since going close over 2m4f here in February. But the one to beat looks to be SEVEN WOODS, who ran a fine race on his debut under Rules when third to Poole Master at Newbury and was only beaten a neck at that track when favourite on his latest start. Duke Of Monmouth and Enter Milan return from a break while Hodgson was only third in a seller over C&D eight days ago and connections will probably have to set his sights lower if he's to lose his maiden tag.
