Verdict
Pensax Lad got up close home to win at Sandown 11 days ago and is only 3lb higher, though has never won off a mark this high on Turf and probably prefers a quicker surface. Satchville Flyer won twice here last month but has gone up a further 4lb since his latest second at Chepstow. For some reason, SWIRRAL EDGE just didn't fire at Thirsk at the start of the month and wasn't given a hard time. She'd proved most consistent previously and probably deserves a chance to recoup losses. Doc Sportello is lightly raced but has his first run for a new yard after four months off. Equally Fast still looks too high in the weights and Head Space is hard to win with.
