Gentle Bob came good over fences over track and trip three weeks ago and can't be ignored, despite an 8lb higher mark. Victors Serenade is probably best watched after refusing on his reappearance at Fontwell, however, while Stolen Thunder was pulled up at Kempton last month. Neither Rimini nor Douryna are frequent winners, though the latter had Plunkett behind at Hereford last time and makes more appeal than Crannaghmore Boy and Randjo, who may need this. MILO MILAN was far from disgraced in a Grade 2 novice chase at Haydock last time, despite only beating one home - he can recapture the winning thread here.
