In depth

Verdict

Lord Bryan has struggled since scoring at Chepstow in December but is reunited with his winning partner for this. Two Hoots was still thereabouts when unseating four fences from home at Plumpton while Nansaroy posted a better effort when placed at Hereford but has now had 10 starts over fences without success. The latter’s stablemate SUTTER’S MILL has had just the two chase outings and has won off a higher mark over hurdles. Improvement may be forthcoming here and Evan Williams’ charge gets the nod given Cawdor House Bert has been off the track since April last year.
