In depth

Verdict

Flemi Two Toes was sent off favourite at Chepstow earlier this month but never looked likely to overhaul the front-running Saint Luke. Rebecca Curtis' gelding may also have to settle for second-best here behind ROLL THE DICE, who made a highly encouraging debut when second at Warwick and will know more today. The booking of Barry Geraghty for Peter Bowen's Deploy gelding Sir Johnson suggests a big run is expected, but fellow newcomer Hawk Run may need more time. Presenting Ace stepped on his debut over this C&D when fourth in what looked a decent contest at Newbury and could be the pick of the remainder.
