After running in Listed company at Haydock, Thor De Cerisy took advantage of a drop in class to win a maiden at Newcastle with plenty in hand but the handicapper has taken no chances with his opening mark. Deja Vue easily landed the odds here last time but has been raised a harsh-looking 8lb for that. THE GIPPER looked to be on the way back at Lingfield and is now 6lb lower than when landing this 12 months ago on similar going – Isabel Williams’ claim is a further plus. Whoshotwho is better over further and his latest third here has yet to be franked.
