A few of these are old rivals and Gang Warfare had Arty Campbell behind when scoring at Chepstow last month. Monjeni has never won over a trip this far but has been lightly campaigned this year and reappeared form another break with a good run behind the prolific What A Welcome at Newbury. Altra Vita has won four of her five starts this year but her only defeat came over 2m at Beverley so stamina is not yet proved. POLISH has been very highly tried in his two runs to date in handicaps. This is likely to be more his level and, though he’s another who will have to prove he stays, he could have a bit more class than most of these. Arthur Mc Bride is another eased in grade and he stays this trip and further, though has been out of sorts for a while.
