Llandinabo Lad is the only one of these to have so far run over fences and he is 0-5, though has placed twice. MANORBANK (NAP) bolted up over hurdles at Chepstow in April and easily defied a penalty on soft going here in May. He’s only run five times and looks an exciting prospect. Matata has won a point and two hurdles and ended up in Grade 1 company at the end of last season so is worth a second look while conditions look ideal for Beau Balko, who won over timber at Hereford and Sandown last season. Cruz Control and Out Of Office aren’t out of this either.

Beau Balko (FR) 8-1 (11-11) Prominent, went right and bumped rival 1st, tracked leader after 2nd, challenged from 3 out, led turning in, headed before hit 2 out and dropped to 3rd, weakened run-in, 5th of 15, 8 1/4l behind Under Control (11-5) at Sandown 2m hcp (2) sft in Apr.
Manorbank (IRE) 5-2 (11-10) Held up towards rear early, went prominent after first, disputed second when rival pulled up before 2nd, hit 3rd, remained close up, still going well when closed on front pair before 3 out, travelled smoothly when led before 2 out, soon in command, ran on well, comfortable, won at Ffos Las 2m 4f (4) sft in May beating The Same (11-10) by 5 1/2l, 6 ran.
