In depth

Verdict

A big field but few make much appeal. It was soft ground when TIME TO SEA won over 1m2f at Nottingham back in May and he stays this far. John Butler’s charge gets the vote despite returning from a lay-off, though Honourbound was placed on the all-weather when stepped up to today’s trip for the first time and may also figure. Katabatika and Seaborn scored on the all-weather last year while Spice War could get involved back over 1m4f for this. Pepper Street and Pescedora have more scope than Daily Trader and the latter’s stablemate Sonnetist and could also go well.
