In depth

Verdict

Fortunes Hiding was a shock winner at Uttoxeter 10 days ago but there appeared no fluke about the result. However, he has a 10lb hike in the weights to contend with here so Dr Robin may prove the pick of Peter Bowen’s trio. Exxaro has had wind surgery since last seen but may need this and Roc D'Apsis has not looked the same horse since returning from a lay-off. Steel Native seeks a fourth course victory and also won at Bangor in March before failing to stay at Exeter so the bottom weight can’t be ruled out but Oathkeeper is having a first run for a new yard after a break. RIVER OF INTRIGUE has been going really well for Brodie Hampson and can add to his Wincanton victory raised only 4lb.
