In depth

Verdict

Dunkelly Castle totes topweight but has shown nothing in three starts in the past year whilst Accordingtopalm hasn't reproduced his hurdling form over fences. Zama Zama's chase form remains relatively modest but nevertheless affords him a fair chance is a low-key contest. The selection is SOMERBY who pulled up in much better grade than this last time, prior to which he'd performed respectably in some fair heavy ground chases. He rates a decent option if over that latest exertion which should be the case after a 70-day break. Doc Wells is an interesting addition to the Tim Vaughan yard at the age of 11 as he still retains his maiden status under Rules. He does have a strong profile between the flags though and it will be interesting to see what his new yard can do with him off a mark of just 77 which sees him receive plenty of weight all round here.
