In depth

Verdict

It will be interesting to see if there is any market interest in Arden Denis, who won easily in this grade at Uttoxeter when last seen two years ago. Rainbow Haze would have a chance on his best form while the champion jockey takes over the reins on Presenting Berkley, beaten only half-a-length at Ludlow last month. Taroum won over this trip at Fakenham last time, though that was only a seller. TOP AND DROP found only Bobble Boru too good on his reappearance at Chepstow and the pair pulled well clear. The winner has since gone close off a 6lb higher mark at Leicester so the form looks solid and Venetia Williams’s charge can go one better today. Marvellous Monty and Catch A Thief look best of the rest.
