        Verdict

        Crystal Lake easily beat Set The Trend at Windsor last time but much softer ground is a real concern under a penalty here, though Ralph Beckett offsets the extra by putting up 7lb claimer Patrick O'Donnell. UNISON won't mind the easy going and is generally progressive. He ran George Cinq to less than a length at Ascot after winning at Windsor and has an opportunity to resume winning ways in this. Tenbridge and Space Walker will handle conditions and the latter is much better than he showed on the Polytrack last time and looks better treated than Swift Cedar and veteran Vainglory.
