Billy Hicks was well beaten on last month’s chasing debut though ran well for a long way. Shrewd Tactics was narrowly beaten on his first start over fences but that was in March last year while Le Coeur Net remains 9lb higher than when landing a chase at Plumpton back in January. BREDON HILL LAD (NAP) has his first outing since April but that was the case when winning last year’s renewal in soft going and Sue Gardner’s charge gets the vote having subsequently gone in again off a similar mark to today. Alf 'n' Dor was placed off higher marks earlier in the year and looks best of the rest.
