Bendant was second at Exeter on his reappearance and has won here over a shorter trip. But stamina could be an issue on today's ground. Power Pack Jack is another course winner but he's now in the veteran stage and has never been easy to predict. WHISKEY AND RED is well treated if he can recapture the form he showed when winning over 3m on heavy ground at Thurles a little under a year ago. His latest fifth at Listowel wasn't a bad effort and he's preferred to Night Alliance, who has had his jumping problems in the past but ran well over hurdles last week. Miss Saffron still looks too high in the weights.
