Verdict

MEDIOLANUM showed an impressive turn of foot in winning a Killarney bumper for Charlie Swan with the front two pulling a long way clear of the field and subsequently changed hands for 100,000 pounds. This is an ideal starting point for him over hurdles and he will be expected to take all the beating with Nigel Twiston-Davies' horses carrying all before them at present. Bens Moor fetched 75,000 pounds following a win in an Irish point and that looked money well spent when he scored cosily at Folkestone so he must be feared along with Rash Call who also impressed in winning between the flags in Ireland. Silver Token, Jump Up and Whereveryougoigo have shown fair form but could struggle against rivals who have the potential to be above average.
