Glory And Fortune is a massive 19lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago but did later win the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury and then ran in both the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Aintree Hurdle. He has developed into a smart performer but this still looks a big ask. Milkwood is a past winner here and won the Scottish Champion Hurdle last year but also has his fair share of weight. Effernock Fizz travels over from Ireland having finished second in a Grade 3 at Tipperary last week but SEVERANCE was threatening to win a race like this last season and might get the better of the lightly-raced Gin Coco, who was an excellent second in a big field at the Punchestown Festival in April.
