In depth

Verdict

Insurrection is worth a market check on a first start for Paul Nicholls as he was a 20-length winner of his second point-to-point. Both Montys Soldier and Shillanavogy displayed plenty of ability in Irish points while Genietoile gave Rebecca Curtis something to work with after a fair fourth here last month. THE JUKEBOX MAN, winner of his sole Irish point, was a fair second of 12 on his Rules debut for Ben Pauling at Chepstow last month and further progress is anticipated from the son of Ask.
