Verdict

Timesawastin got off the mark over C&D six days ago, beating Tenby Jewel by six lengths. The runner-up is 7lb better off at the weights here but Evan Williams' five-year-old is less exposed and fancied to confirm his superiority. He may, however, have to give best to MURCAR who looked to be running into form after a mid-season break with a second in a more competitive affair at Fontwell. Knockdolian probably has a bit more to offer and could run into a place, while Jolly Roger hasn't been disgraced since winning at Huntingdon in November.
