      Verdict

      Coronation Cottage looks a few pounds too high but is usually thereabouts at this level. Portelet Bay can probably be forgiven his latest run at Wolverhampton but Haseef’s first try over 5f at Salisbury proved inconclusive. William Carver couldn’t claim his allowance when BAMA LAMA was narrowly beaten in an apprentices’ race here four weeks ago so his mount is effectively 2lb lower today. Rod Millman’s filly is preferred to Leicester winner Willingly, who is 2lb higher.
