In depth

Verdict

William Haggas has a 44% strike rate since the track opened in 2009 and CAPE CLASSIC can take that figure to 50% here. The colt only needed to be pushed out hands and heels to score at Salisbury and his shrewd handler has found a decent opportunity to supplement gains off an attractive mark. Remotelinx has been campaigned in good sprinting company this term and showed up well behind Blanche Dubawi at Ascot last time but may fail to concede 10lb to the progressive selection. Penny's Pearl and Belle Bayardo are struggling for form, whereas CRUISE TOTHELIMIT arrives in search of the hat-trick after narrow handicap successes, showing a resolute attitude both times. He looks to lack the scope of Cape Classic but should still go well.
