This is a competitive little handicap but Salto Chisco is two from two around here, though possibly better over fences nowadays. Ezanak was second in is first three runs over hurdles but disappointing when odds-on at Market Rasen in August. Mauricio got back to winning ways in a conditionals’ event at Southwell and can race off the same mark. Suited by good ground, he is unlikely to be far away again with Charlie Hammond taking off 5lb. MASTER OF FINANCE is also partnered by a 5lb claimer who rides this course well. Lucy Wadham’s gelding won a chase on the track in June and travelled strongly over 2m4f after a break here 12 days ago. With that run under his belt, he could represent some value. Neither My Brother nor Vanderbilt can be ignored but Jacbequick doesn’t look particularly well treated.
