In depth

Verdict

Glimpse Of Gold has been beaten twice off higher marks since scoring over course and distance in March but clearly likes it here. Phoenix Dawn will have benefited from a recent run on the all-weather but Ludlow winner Roar weakened quickly at Worcester last month and Sid Hoodie did likewise at Stratford after winning at Taunton. Theocrat still looks in good form but BEGIN THE LUCK’s latest win at Southwell has been franked and he can take this step up in grade in his stride.
