BON CHIC (NAP) should find this a lot easier than the Listed handicap she contested at Cheltenham last month. This is her trip, though she had a nice confidence-booster over 3m around here in March. Chase The Wind probably wasn't winning out of turn at Wetherby, though is a little flattered by his form figures. Mercers Court only won by a neck at Fontwell and is 5lb higher here, though still not badly treated on his hurdles form. Milgen Bay still looks to be in the handicapper's grip while this looks an insufficient test for stayer Master Rajeem. Border Breaker and Drumlang are even harder to fancy on recent form.
Border Breaker (IRE) 50-1 (11-0) Prominent until 4 out, well beaten when mistake 3 out, 6th of 13, dist behind Loose Chips (11-4) at Kempton 3m hcp (3) gd in Apr.
Mercers Court (IRE) 9-4fav (11-9) Tracked leaders, outpaced in 4th before 3 out, rallied last, stayed on under pressure flat, led final strides, won at Fontwell 2m 5f hcp (4) gd in Apr beating Butlergrove King (11-4) by nk, 9 ran.
Bon Chic (IRE) 3-1jfav (11-0) Held up in rear, not fluent 5th and reminders, hit 8th, headway on outside 12th, mistake 3 out, soon beaten, 9th of 11, 32 3/4l behind Indian Stream (11-0) at Cheltenham 2m 5f hcp lst (1) gd in Apr.
Milgen Bay 16-1 (10-12) Held up mid-division, headway before 9th, led 10th, ridden 4 out, headed 3 out, weakened 2 out, 8th of 14, 34 1/4l behind Ruben Cotter (11-11) at Chepstow 2m 3f hcp (3) gd in Apr.
