Verdict

Holly seems to have gone backwards but is slipping down the handicap as a consequence. Pretending is still a maiden over timber but would have every chance on her second to Under Control in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham in the spring. Mrs Grimley also didn’t do a lot wrong last season and Ip Up was fair third at Ayr at the start of the month, though behind On Cloud Nine at Uttoxeter on her UK debut. GEORGI GIRL (NAP) reappeared with a decent third behind a couple of progressive mares at Hereford and the four-year-old can build on that here.
