With Creinch entered to run on Saturday, it could present an opportunity for Dubai Sunday to take the scalps of St Pancras and Jack Rolfe. Dubai Sunday has made all the headlines for the wrong reasons and while legal reasons prevent discussion here - it is worth remembering the ease in which he landed his Lingfield bumper. An eye-catching sort, if he takes to the hurdling game, he has enough ability to make things count. Two recent spins on the level should have put him straight for this but the market is watched intently. St Pancras was a fair miler in his younger days. His hurdling bow at Huntingdon followed almost a year-and-a-half off the track and could be described as distinctly average. More would be needed in the face of improvers. Jack Rolfe was sent off as favourite for a strong looking hurdle at Newbury on Good-to-Soft. Well beaten on the day, the inclement conditions could have had a part to play in that outcome. Sonntag Blue has won at distances up to nine furlongs on the level but has plenty to find with a number of these on bare flat ratings. Bond Millennium was easy to back on debut and ran accordingly. Plenty of guesswork required but Dubai Sunday's bumper form entitles him to more than just passing consideration and he is nominated accordingly.
