Actinpieces fell early at Haydock when last in action and his win at Catterick came in soft going. Raktiman would also prefer some cut in the ground and so would Catamaran Du Seuil on only his second start over fences. Mercers Court is struggling for form though not badly treated back over the larger obstacles but a chance is taken on GOWANAUTHAT. The latter should have come on for a recent pipe-opener when unseating in the closing stages having gone close on fast ground off a higher mark at Fontwell back in April.
